The way an rv park should be. Large sites, this park is not like others, people packed in like sardines just to make more money. The owner was thinking of the RVers not the dollar bill.Quiet, clean would stay again.

I found my Jan/Feb 2023 stay to be most enjoyable. In the midst of significant renovation and expansion under new ownership, reviews from even a year ago won’t reflect current (and future) conditions. RV spots are quite large with mature vegetation, nice new community room, bathrooms and laundry facilities, and staff who were very friendly and helpful. The rural setting is peaceful, yet in close proximity to the small town of Salome with convenient services. I certainly recommend Indian Hills and plan to return in the future to see how the ambitious redevelopment plans have unfolded.

We're here until April 7th. So far we have no complaints. Clean, quiet...all is well. Park is new and having wifi would be nice but I'm sure that's in their future plans.

WOW. WOW. WOW. Under new ownership and it shows. Bathrooms, laundry facility and community rooms are all brand new. We travel the country and this is hands down one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. The sites are huge and have mature landscaping that separates the lots from one another. The park is located next to the Verizon tower and we always had a very strong 5G signal. The people we met were very friendly and welcoming. We have already booked reservations for next year and cant wait to return!

Two nights: arrived 11/30'2022, departed 12/2. Having spent the previous two nights at Picacho Peak - railroad and Interstate 10 - this location was nice and quiet. With a cell tower just a few hundred yards away - a solid signal for the laptop. The 'online' booking and payment went well, Good Sam membership taken into consideration.Had picked Site 26. Pulled in by the renovated office building. Walked down the row looking for 26. Read off 29, 28, 27, 31 - what? Turned out 26 was the front end of that site. No leveling required, stayed hitched up. Two new water faucets, and the dump connection also new. Power: 30A, no problems. Will be heading back that way to south-east Arizona after winter and will stay here again.

Spencer's RV park is gorgeous! Two new Rec rooms with large screen TV's and wi-fi, kitchenette area, new laundry room, with new washers and dryers. New and clean restrooms and shower facilities. Beautiful landscaping with citrus and pine trees, cane, and oleanders. Night time lighting, and cameras for security and best of all, friendly neighbors.

This place is just beautiful. I stayed there a few nights with my sister and Spencer is just the most awesome helpful person I have ever met! Thank you again Spencer for all your help. He is doing so many improvements on this place. The surrounding area is peaceful and quite pretty for the desert. I am looking forward to staying there again this winter. Patty

Stayed two nights, May 2/3, 2022.My first experience of booking and paying for a reservation online. It went well, provided I read each line twice. (Born: 1941, not a big internet user.)Pulled in about 3PM. It took just a few minutes for Spenser to arrive. (The office building was being reworked, he came from home I guess.) We were booked in for site 26. "If you don't like that site, pick one you do like." It's May, it's getting warm, there were empty sites. The site: plenty big enough for a 27 ft trailer and a 4 door F-350. Nominal: 25' x 100', pull through. Level, didn't have to unhitch or use side to side blocks. My wife is 'picky' when it comes to the taste of water. She liked it. She's also cost conscious - another 'like'.Experience? We've had travel trailers and fifth-wheels since the late 1980's. Camped: New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Oregon. Spent a total of 10 summers as volunteer camp hosts with the US Forest Service.Indian Hills, Salome is on our short-list for places to stay at if/when we're in this area again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Campground under new ownership in February. Tremendous cleanup and infrastructure uogrades taking place. Mature landscaping was a bonus compared to desert setting nearby campgrounds. Salome is located on the Arizona Peace Trail. Ride out your backdoor from camp into numerous trail systems and up atop Mt. Harquahala.
